Today on View From The Quad, Liz and I discuss a rather strange new form of non lethal weapon that Japanese police are carrying around, a tree stump that is drawing idiots all over the world to Limerick, monkeys running riot in Chester zoo, a pink robot (oh so very newsworthy) and we play a quick excerpt from an interview with Patrick E Mclean which will be going live in the next few weeks.

One feature of VFTQ that I’m not sure if I have ever pointed out is the ability to read the shownotes on an iPod Touch or iPhone. For most podcasts, this is an impossibility, as these two devices do not have a Shownotes screen, unlike the rest of the iPod family. VFTQ, however, inserts it’s shownotes into the Lyrics ID3 tag, which means when listening to VFTQ, if you tap the album artwork, you will be able to read the full shownotes on your screen. Wonderful!
